How Science Builds a Picture of the World

KOINOT separates observations, theories, models and interpretations so that the reader can see not only what science says, but how scientific conclusions are obtained and tested.

The aim is not to replace one authority with another. The aim is to make the logical chain visible: what is observed, what follows from equations, what is interpretation, what is prediction, and what still remains open.

Observation and experiment

Science begins from reproducible information about the world, not from preference for a particular explanation.

Assumptions and derivations

Every theoretical result depends on stated assumptions and a chain of reasoning that should be inspectable.

Competing explanations

Different theories may fit part of the same data. The decisive question is where their predictions differ.

Errors and uncertainty

Measurement error, model uncertainty and theoretical approximation must be separated from one another.

Scientific change

Theories can be corrected, generalized or replaced when better explanations and evidence become available.

AI as an analytical tool

AI can help compare arguments, calculations and sources, but scientific responsibility remains with transparent evidence and reasoning.
